Chun li leg up Pixel by Providenceangle Chun li leg up Pixel by Providenceangle
Just a little fun.

I wanted to do something different. Most times I up res sprites, so that I can add more detail(also to see what they would look like in a modern take). This time I wanted to do the opposite, reduce scale while, keeping as much detail, as possible.

The original art is Oreteki18's. Anyone who knows of the artist, will know where this is from. I kept it clean. As I just liked the pose.(I found lots of other art with the similar pose, but none that I wanted to do) Thus the reason for using it as a reference.

I might consider doing more like this. It's very challenging to work at this scale in general but, I find I help improve my overall technique, while doing work like this.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I used the 3rd strike palette colors.

It's not a sprite. It's based on a piece of art by Oreteki18kin. You're welcome to google it, but it's of a "adult" nature.

I personally like how it looks, and wanted to emulate the level of detail, just on a smaller scale.

It's personal taste. I personally don't find Picasso's work very appealing, personally. Millions will disagree with me.

lol picasso was a great artist for the period he lived, in modern days he is more of a classic artist, and he had no respect for anatomy...
